How to Make Yarrow Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sprig yarrow either freshly picked or dried
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon spearmint or peppermint leaves fresh or dried (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon honey and/or licorice root optional

Method
 

  1. Bring the cup of water and licorice root (if using) to a boil.
  2. Stir in all of the other ingredients.
  3. Steep the yarrow tea mixture for 20 minutes.
  4. Drain away the ingredients, and keep the tea liquid.
  5. Sip slowly as soon as it is cool enough to drink without burning your mouth.
